SPECIAL DAY is an award winning Irish Bridal Wear Company which is based in Dublin. Designing and delivering high quality products are integral to the Special Day brand. The company’s product sells in the UK, Ireland, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Netherlands, Belgium, Luxemburg, Portugal, Finland, Sweden, Norway, Canada and Australia.

The SPECIAL DAY collections are designed in the design studio in Dublin. The collections include bridal, bridesmaids and communion dresses. The Bridal collection features a range of dresses with couture construction to flatter every figure. Embroideries, crystal beadings and hand sewn embellishments all feature in the bridal range. The European collection offers elegant designs at affordable prices. The Beautiful Bride Plus range is designed especially for the fuller figure. It features excellent bone structure to give support and flatter the fuller figure.

The Tara collection is our premium range of bridesmaid dresses. They are available in a large range of colours and fabrics with beautiful beadworks. Complementing teenage and flower girls dresses are available to match. The Diamond collection offers elegant bridesmaid styles with a large selection of colours at very affordable prices.

Our Designer

Joanne McFadden is the design director at Special Day. She follows a long tradition of Irish designers having trained in the Grafton Academy of dress design. In 1992 she obtained a first class honours degree in Bridal Design and construction. Her work has seen her recognised in Holland,  Germany and the UK where she won the British Bridal award  in the slim silhouette category having been a finalist for the previous few years .Joanne designs over 200 gowns per year for the various collections within the Special Day label. The Special Day range is showcased at the Bridal Exhibitions in Harrogate, Holland and Germany and is sold through selected stockists.
